Description
This is absolutely nothing special, but I like it.
I did this sketch [link] a few days ago, because I was watching The Taming of the Shrew and felt like relaxing by drawing a boofy dress. I used a screenshot of Natasha Pyne as Bianca as a starting point; I liked the pose and the dress. I added my own background, and changed the face and personality of my lady.
Having finished the sketch, I thought it would be nice to paint it. I didn't have much time on my hands, so I scanned my sketch, printed it out on watercolour paper, and painted it with watercolours. Great fun, and very relaxing. I've been trying to loosen up with my sketching and painting, and I think I succeeded pretty well here.
Materials: 300gsm watercolour paper, epson printer, Winsor & Newton watercolours.
Size: under A5
Time Taken: about 4–5 hours, including the sketch.
References: One screenshot, as stated above
Enjoy!
