Claudette Colbert was an actress in the '30s. Starred with Clark Gable in "It happened one night". This was done in B mechanical pencil, and an ordinary 6b pencil
This is a simple rendering of Claudette Colbert but it looks just like her so it's quite effective. I wanted to look at the full view but it is WAY too big and was just taking far too long to load on my screen so I gave up on that idea.
Can't be too detailed in my comment since I can only see the small view, but it looks like a nice job. Thanks for sharing.
Is it big? I didn't know! I will have to fix that! Sorry.
I'm glad you know who Cladette Colbert is (most people just look at me funny). This was done AGES ago- I think the fifth portrait I had ever done, and I hadn't got blending or anything down yet, which is probably why it is simpler.
Thanks for the comment
Thankyou! It's also *very* old!
I hope always to continue drawing the old stars, even though I am moving more into illustration now.
Thankyou for the too! Greatly appreciated!
