Thank you so much! I very much enjoy fairytale and storybook illustration, and I'm always glad when someone likes them. =D Thanks for the :+fav:s on "Bunnies!" and "Sleepytime" too! =)

You're very welcome. :) I would love to draw something like your storybook illustrations. I'm starting to practice using colored pencils, but you won't find any of them in my gallery since they look like they were done by a four year old! :D

Coloured pencil does take a bit of practice; you need to get a good understanding of how colour works before you can really get them to work, I think, and then use thin layers of pencil to build up tones. Don't try to rush them and I'm sure you'll have lovely work in no time. =) Your clownfish doesn't look bad, anyway; so vibrant! I like to use a smooth paper for coloured pencil work, otherwise the white tends to show through, but then, I've never been a fan of paper with much tooth, no matter the media. =P

I noticed that you dropped by for a visit, love your gallery. Have been a fan of Boggie and Becall since I can remember. TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT...so catches the mood and feel of that famous couple.

Thank you! It's a great film, and it was a lovely photo to work from; that portrait remains one of my favourites. Thanks for the :+fav:! =)
I enjoyed looking through your gallery; your paper dolls are very sweet. Your cat portraits were lovely too, although, if I may, I might suggest using thicker watercolour paper, or stretching your paper prior to painting (I use 300gsm paper, as I can't be bothered stretching, but if you paint very wet, you'd probably need to even with that) to avoid that unhappy wavy look in the final piece. You did the fur beautifully though, they looked so fluffy. =)
